Review for Concealed: A Thought-Provoking Blend of Science, Faith, and Hope

From the first few pages, it becomes evident that Concealed is more than an average post-apocalyptic novel. Combining the genres of sci-fi, mystery, suspense, and faith in the story that constantly asks questions and uncovers a greater context, Concealed turns into a profound reflection on hope, sacrifice, love, and redemption.
One of the main aspects of the book that made it memorable and impressive is the atmosphere created by the author. There is something mysterious about the world in the novel that keeps us interested. I really wanted to learn more about what has happened to the world, how the convergence points work and where everything is going to lead us. The world-building is impressive, the world is full of imagination and details, yet it does not steal attention from the characters.
Michael's journey is another aspect that makes the novel worth reading. It is realistic and the growth of the main hero happens gradually, slowly. Johanna is another character that I liked very much, she brings a lot of emotion to the story. Their relationship grows in parallel with the development of the story. There are some moments in the story that make the reader reflect on life, loyalty, loss, love. The characters are well-built and they are the most important part of the book.
For the most part of the novel, the pace is good. I like the balance between action scenes and more character-centered scenes, when the reader can have some time to process all the emotions and events that happen in the book. Sometimes the novel introduces several ideas related to science, philosophy, spirituality and religion, so one needs to pay attention and think carefully about them.
The emotionality of the novel intensified towards the end. There were some truly remarkable moments, especially those depicting sacrifice, grief, and the development of character's relationships.
Overall, the novel developed from a tale of survival in a dystopian society to a story of restoration and hope. The finale was both emotionally satisfying and consistent with the themes the author was developing throughout the entire story. Those readers who love to read faith-based books will probably appreciate it.
Concealed is a truly interesting mixture of speculative fiction and Christian literature. The book provides readers with an exciting premise, well-developed characters, deep themes, and an emotional finish. Although readers, who seek for action-packed science-fiction tales, might find a lot of philosophy in the book, those who prefer character-focused and mysterious stories with hope and interesting themes will enjoy reading the novel.
I would like to recommend this book to readers who are fond of apocalyptic novels and speculative thrillers.
